May 25, 2014; Atlanta, GA, USA; Last service for Friendship Baptist Church at 437 Mitchell Street Southwest before the structure will demolished to make way for new Atlanta Falcons Stadium. The Rev. Dr. William Guy, former pastor of Friendship, delivered the last sermon. The church, founded in 1866 and Atlanta’s oldest black church, received more than $19 million for the land.
